Interloop Limited, and University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) inked a Memorandum of Understanding. According to agreement, Interloop will provide 20 scholarship to UAF deserving students in the degrees of BSc Environmental Engineering; BSc Energy System Engineering; BSc (Hons) Textile Technology and BSc (Hons) Dairy Sciences.

Interloop Limited, and University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) inked a Memorandum of Understanding. According to agreement, Interloop will provide 20 scholarship to UAF deserving students in the degrees of BSc Environmental Engineering; BSc Energy System Engineering; BSc (Hons) Textile Technology and BSc (Hons) Dairy Sciences. The MoU was duly inked by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Zafar, and Interloop Limited Chief Executive Officer Musadaq Zulqarnain. Whereas, Financial Assistance & University Advancement Director Dr Hafeez Ahmed Sadaqat and Col (Retd) Ijaz Ahmad Nasir, SA to CEO Interloop Limited were present on the occasion. It was agreed upon that donor will awlard total 20 scholarships to deserving students, starting 5 scholarships every year from academic year 2017-18 (from the start of their batch / 1st semester) for below mentioned 4 years undergraduate degree programs. This scholarship program will be continued / perpetual with addition of new students every year, including previous year/year’s scholars till the completion of their degree program. It was agreed upon that every year, UAF will invite the applications from the needy students and will shortlist / verify the applicant data basing on the grass root realities, eligibility criteria i.e. purely on students needs / family positions, university will forward the priority wise list of 10 most needy students with following detail / information for final selection by the donor. Dr Iqbal Zafar said that university was making all out efforts to ensure the quality education to the students. He said that as many as 40 percent of the students in the university was getting scholarships. He said that university admitted the students by design with a special focus on rural background. He lauded the donors for the helping the deserving students to continue their journey. Musadaq Zulqarnain said that they will provide purely need based scholarships to the very poor / needy and deserving both (male & female) students, who otherwise can’t pursue their higher studies or face great financial difficulties in their education.
