The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in collaboration with Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) is observing World Space Week from 4- 10 October themed “exploring new worlds in space”.

The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in collaboration with Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) is observing World Space Week from 4- 10 October themed “exploring new worlds in space”. The week organized by Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), UAF and Laboratory School and College System UAF will bring colorful events including water rocket competition; model making competition; space poster competition; space awareness walk; quiz and declamation competition and women cycling. It is aimed at creating awareness, among the students particularly and masses in general, about the space science and technologies. It will provide an opportunity to the students to show their creativity. The schools who want to take part in the activities are advised to get them registered by October 1. In this regard, a meeting was held with ORIC Director Zahir Ahmad Zahir in the chair. He directed the meeting to ensure foolproof arrangement. Director Students Affair Dr Shahbaz Talib Sahi, Principal School Dr Khalil Ur Rehman, Dr Nuzhat Huma, Ashaq-e-Rasool, Dr Abdul Rahseed , Dr Naveed Irshad, Dr Abdul Naveed, and others attended the meeting.
