The University of Agriculture intra faculty sport gala arranged by Faculty of Sciences has concluded. The concluding session was chaired by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar while Dean Faculty of Sciences Dr Muhammad Asghar was the guest of honor.

The University of Agriculture intra faculty sport gala arranged by Faculty of Sciences has concluded. The concluding session was chaired by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar while Dean Faculty of Sciences Dr Muhammad Asghar was the guest of honor. The Department of Computer Sciences clinched the first position with 44 points while Department of Physics stood second with 37 points and Department of Chemistry got the third position with 28 points. In the boys cricket matches, Department of Computer Sciences won against Department of Physics. In the football, Department of Physics won against the Computer Sciences Department. In the table tennis, Department of Computer Sciences won against Department of Chemistry. Addressing on the occasion, Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar said that university was taking all possible measures provide state-of-the-art facilities to the students. He added that such healthy sports activities will help in promoting the sports culture. He said that state-of-the-art sport gymnasium, scotch hall, Olympic size swimming poll facilities are being added in the campus. He said that the sport activities in the country were showing a declining trend among the youth that is a matter of concern. Dr Khalil Ur Rehman also spoke.
