As per details, the UAF has sustained its position in the subject of Agriculture Sciences of 97th position with the total score 58. It has jumped 21 number in the field of agriculture with 240 position as it was at 261 number in 2016. The UAF is first-ever educational institution in the country ranked among the top 100 universities of the world. Across the globe, different agencies are engaged in ranking process with different parameters. In this perspective, Shanghai Rankings ranked UAF at 127th in the world. Similarly in QS world university ranking, it is at 90th in the world and HEC has placed UAF at No. 1 university in Pakistan in Agricultural Sector. The NTU Ranking provides overall ranking, ranking by six fields, and ranking by 14 selected subjects. The ranking system is aimed at evaluating academic performance by research universities in scientific research through the use of objective indicators. Since 2012, the "Performance Ranking of Scientific Papers for World Universities" has been individually and officially executed and released by National Taiwan University; the overall ranking, rankings by six fields and rankings by 14 subjects are also provided (the subject of pharmacology and toxicology has been included in the performance ranking since 2012).
