Condolence reference for the University of Agriculture Faisalabad professor Dr Ihsan Khaliq (late) was held at Iqbal Auditorium UAF to commemorate his tremendous services for the area of teaching and agricultural research. The session was presided over by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar while Muhammad Nawaz Shareef Agriculture University Multan Vice Chancellor Dr Asif Ali, Former Dean Faulty of Agriculture Dr Iftikhar Ahmad, Faculty of Agriculture Dean Dr Muhammad Amjad, Principal UAF sub campus Burewala Dr Abdus Salam Khan, Chairman Plant Breeding and Genetics Dr Hafeez Sadaqat, and other notables also spoke on the occasion. Addressing on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor said that late professor had rendered commendable service to agriculture sector and academia that will be written in the golden words. He said that he had produced numerous research papers and talented students who are working day and night for the sector. He said that being a human being, he was so gentle who always worried about the problems of other people and find the way to help them out. Dr Asif Ali said that the late professor found the age of 54 years. He said he was his class fellow from the college time. Such great people are remembered forever. The late professor had worked hard and contribute in the development of new wheat varieties. Dr Muhammad Amjad said that the legend services are remarkable that helped in the progress of the sector. There is a need to follow in the footprint of such people who thought out of box and worked in the development of the county. Dr Iftikhar Ahmad said that the late professors had produced five PhDs. He said that during the whole life, his behavior with colleagues, students, seniors and others was excellent and caring. Dr Hafeez Sadaqat said that the late professor had produced two books and 85 research papers. He said that the professor got the degree of PhDs in 2000. The meeting also prayed for the departed soul.
