University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar on Tuesday urged the youth to develop hardworking, faith, honesty and discipline in their lives as per vision of Father of the Nation , Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar on Tuesday urged the youth to develop hardworking, faith, honesty and discipline in their lives as per vision of Father of the Nation , Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Addressing annual event of Agrarian Society held in connection with Quaid Day at Iqbal Auditorium, he quoted the sayings of Quaid-e-Azam: “I insist you to strive. Work, Work and only work for satisfaction with patience, humbleness and serve the nation” (All India Muslim Students Conference Jalandhur, 15 Nov 1942). He also quoted Quaid’s saying: “no nation and no people can do anything without making themselves economically powerful in commerce, trade and industry” (Address to Punjab Muslim Student Federation in Lahore, 1941). He said that the country was achieved after the great sacrifices, now it is our duty to move it to the new horizon of development and prosperity. He added that the education works as the engine of bright future and development. He added that there is a need to horn inbuilt capabilities of youth that will help address the problems confronted the people. He said that under the leadership of Quaid, a new state for Muslim surfaced on the map of the world in 1947 where the Muslims spend their lives as per injunctions of Islam and Sunnah. He said that Islam is a religion of peace and provides guidelines in every spheres of life. He said that we have to apply the golden principles of Islam in our lives not only to make the progress in the world but also find the Nijat at the Day of Judgment. Dean Faculty of Agriculture Dr Muhammad Amjad stressed upon the need to follow Quaid’s golden principal of unity, faith and discipline to make Pakistan a prosperous country. He said that we have to work hard for the betterment of the society and to address the different challenges. He urged the students to devote their energies to get the education. Director Student Affair Dr Shahbaz Talib Sahi said that Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of Pakistan was a democratic and impregnable welfare state where people could live with love, fraternity and harmony. He said that we have to remove the darkness from the society with the sword of education and hardworking.
