The University of Agriculture Faisalabad has produced as many as 153 PhDs in 2015 which has set a new record in the history of UAF.

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad has produced as many as 153 PhDs in 2015 which has set a new record in the history of UAF. According to Controller Examination Prof Dr Abdul Wahid, the varsity has produced 1358 PhDs since its inception as University in 1961. The University,he said, has produced 101 PhDs in 2014; 93 in the year 2013, 74 PhDs in 2012 and 89 PhDs in 2011. The UAF has produced 68185 graduates so far since 1961. Out of them, around 40 percent (26981 students) passed out since 2008. It is worth mentioning here that under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan, the UAF has touched to new height of development by finding place in the list of top 100 universities worldwide. It is the first ever educational institution ranked among to 100 varsities globally.
