The University of Agriculture Faisalabad sub campus Toba Tek Singh will make its Poultry Feed Mill; Hatchery ; and Poultry Controlled Shed Farm and Poultry Diagnostic Laboratory functional soon meant to promote latest poultry technology and address the problems of farming community.

It was stated by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Asif Tanveer while presiding over the meeting of UAf Toba Tek Singh sub-campus officials . He directed the official concerned to make these said functional as soon as possible . He said that the sub-campus has produced many poultry graduates who are working day and night for the uplift of the sector. He said that all passed-out poultry sciences students had found the jobs. He viewed that the District Toba Tek Singh is the second largest hub of poultry in the country. He hoped that UAF Sub Campus Toba Tek Singh will emerge as one of the apex academic and research institute in the fields of Poultry Science, Basic Sciences, Computer Science, Zoology, Chemistry and allied sciences. Principal Sub-campus Dr Nisar Ahmad said that currently, the sub-campus was offering 23 degree programs of agriculture sciences, animal sciences, poultry sciences, basic sciences, social sciences, arts and other allied disciplines. He said that currently, the sub-campus enrolments was standing at 2500 students. He said the Sub Campus has a diligent faculty with diverse academic background in the relevant fields. Director Planning and Development Irfan Abbas briefed about the sub-campus project. Dr Muhammad Farooq Khalid, Secretary to Vice Chancellor Muhammad Jamil, Dr Umar Farooq, Dr Muhammad Tariq, Dr Javaid, Aoun, dr Zia ur Rehman, Rana Mukhtar Ahmad , and other noteables attened.
