Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that elimination of hatred, ignorance and extremism culture would pave the way to root out the menace of terrorism from the society.

Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that elimination of hatred, ignorance and extremism culture would pave the way to root out the menace of terrorism from the society. He was addressing at the book launching ceremony of Book titled Musaftan Kiay Kiay written by Asghar Ali Tabasum at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The event was organized by Public Relations and Publications, UAF and Faisalabad Editor Council. He stressed upon the need to spread the message of love and peace in the society in the light of Quran and Sunnah that is the guarantee of a bright future. He said that we had forgotten the teachings of Sufi saints. The situation led to discriminate the people on creed, colors and sects. He urged the people to play their active role to end the hatred that led to terrorism. Talking about Pakistan history, he said that Muslim were fighting with Hindu and British but now the Muslims were fighting with each others. He said that the feeling of hatred can be converted into the love with care for the all segments of the society. He said that the government was making all-out efforts to move the country towards stability. He said that agricultural productivity had increased manifold since the inception of the country due to agricultural experts’ efforts. He said there was a time when the people were used to get the flour and sugar on ration cards. He said that the book was a story of all Pakistani that will help the youth find the way of fighting the odds of life. Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that the book was the story of self-made person. He said that the book writer had poured all the experiences of the life in a book that would set the path for the youth to learn how to face the problems of the life. Talking about the agriculture, he said that the agricultural productivity of the country had jacked up manifold since 1947 due to endeavors of agricultural scientists He said that the government was making tangible steps for the boosting up agricultural productivity. He said that vision 2025 of government would pave the way of development. He said that the Punjab Chief Minister Kissan package worth 100 billion was the hallmark step. He said since 1947, the wheat production has increased 7 times; corn 116 times; cotton 12 times, mango 217 times and sugarcane 220 times.. He said that for the last two decade, it is facing stagnation.Book writer Asghar Ali Tabasum stressed upon the youth to work with dedication, motivation and hardworking that was the guarantee of bright future. He said that the book was a story of underprivileged person who fought all the problems of life with hardworking, dedication, and trust on Allah Sunhanhutallah. He said that no other one will come to solve your problems . You have to help yourself with hardworking and dedication. Renowned Journalist Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shamin said the book are the direction for the youth . Every book of the book was having the lesson. He said that education was prerequisite to meet the challenges of the modern era. He said that that intolerance was increasing in the society and now we have to develop the culture of forgiveness. He said that the democracy would pave the way for the uplift. He said that in past, dictatorship regime had pushed the country towards backward. Senator M Hamza, Dr Riaz Majeed, former MPA Tabish Alvari, Khawa Moeen-ud-Din; Senior journalists Rauf Tahir Maqbool Lodhi; Shahzad Baig, and Farzana Irum also spoke on the occasion.
