The University of Agriculture Faisalabad has kicked off a six day security training program aimed at ensuring the foolproof security at the campus. This training is being conducted in collaboration with Education Commission (HEC) under modern university governess program.

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad has kicked off a six day security training program aimed at ensuring the foolproof security at the campus. This training is being conducted in collaboration with Education Commission (HEC) under modern university governess program. Vice chancellor, University of Agriculture Faisalabad Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan (SI) said the country was facing security threats for which we have to create awareness to act in case of any untoward situation. He said that the menace of terrorism can be eliminated with the weapon of education. He said that university was taking all tangible steps to ensure the fool security at its premises. He said security had become a challenge and we must be capable to stand against such acts. He lauded the steps being taken on the part of army who are taking all possible measures to eliminate terror. He also said that such types of workshops are necessary for the betterment of institutions. Principal Officer Estate Management Dr Haroon Zaman Khan said that security staff was being trained by Pakistan Army, Punjab Police, Rescue 15, Federal Civil Defense Elite Special force and Rescue 1122 to face the untoward situation. ORIC Director Muhammad Aslam said that the workshop would enhance the capacity of the security staff. He applauded the HEC for conducting such type of awareness activities for the benefits of institutes.
