Around 12,000 students are appeared in University of Agriculture, Faisalabad 4th entrance test for undergraduate programs on Sunday. The test is conducted in 12 cities including Faisalabad, Gujrawala, Lahore, Layyah, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Toba Tek Singh, Vehari, Burewala, and Bahawalpur. As many as 6,655 students appeared in Faisalabad campus whereas 5,274 in the rest of the cities. University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Vice Chancellor (SI) Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan during his visit to the examination halls said the criteria and process for the admission to UAF undergraduate programs had been revamped in order to further make it further strengthened and get talented students through entrance test. He said that University was taking tangible steps to provide skilled manpower which was the guarantee for a bright future. The initiative will uplift the economy, and alleviate poverty. The UAF is the only educational institution in the country which has been ranked among the top 100 universities worldwide in any category. Candidates that appeared in today’s test can check their result after one week online. The students must submit the application for admission/ merit list by August 22 in the respective office. The merit list will be displayed on August 25. However, no entry test is required for admission to Associate and B.Ed. degree programs.
