As many as 24 girls school students took part in the cycling race arranged at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The cycling was the part of second day of a World Space Week, featuring the different programs including water rocket competition, an awareness walk, poster, model competition, quiz competition.

As many as 24 girls school students took part in the cycling race arranged at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The cycling was the part of second day of a World Space Week, featuring the different programs including water rocket competition, an awareness walk, poster, model competition, quiz competition. The event which will conclude on Saturday was organized by UAF in collaboration with Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) In the cycling race, Laiba Shahbaz bagged first position while Nawal got the second and Samia Saeed stood third. SUPARCO Agri Information Center Director Dr Ijaz Ahmad said that in the modern world, technology had brought lot of benefit for the mankind. He said that through the space science, we can use the internet TV etc that has become integral part of one life. Director ORIC Dr Aslam Mirza said that the UAF was making all out efforts to produce the quality skilled manpower. He said that the world had become a global village due to this advancement. Principal Office Laboratory School System Prof Dr Khalil Ur Rehman also spoke on the occasion.
