T20 Intervarsity four-day cricket tournament has begun at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in which six teams from the district are taking part.

T20 Intervarsity four-day cricket tournament has begun at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in which six teams from the district are taking part It is arranged by UAF Directorate of Sports and Interloop at the varsity grounds. The inauguration session was chaired by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad while UAF Sports Director Dr Muhammad Ashfaq, Ijaz Nasir from Interloop and other notables also attended the session. The first day, two matches were played. In the first match, Government Postgraduate College Samanabad defeated Municipal College Abbdullah Pur by 61 runs. In the second match, National Textile University won the won by 4 runs against Punjab Medical College. UAF and GCUF are also taking part in the tournament.
