Like other parts of the country the University of Agriculture Faisalabad is celebrating Shan-e-Rehmatul-Lil-Alameen (PBUH) Week.

A ceremony of Durood and Salam was organized by the Office of the Senior Tutor University of Agriculture Faisalabad at Iqbal Auditorium on the directive of UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan in which the students presented the naat. A large number of students from different departments of the university participated in the Mehfil-e-Durood held at Iqbal Auditorium. Addressing on the event, Principal Officer Student Affairs Prof Dr. Aftab Wajid said that the life and example of the Prophet (PBUH) is a beacon of light for humanity. He said that the world could be made a haven of peace by following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Senior Tutor Dr. Abdul Naveed said that the week is being celebrated from November 16 to November 22 in which besides Milad-e-Mustafa, Walk, Durood and Salam ceremonies have been organized and a special tree planting campaign will continue in this regard. A conference will be held on November 19 in which speakers will give special lectures on character building of youth in the light of Seerat-un-Nabi. Dr. Ijaz Saleem also addressed.
