The University of Agriculture Faisalabad will boost up its outreach activities to address the problems of farming community at their doorstep and increase per acre yield.

it was decided at the Dean Committee presided over by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan at Syndicate Room. He said that the country was confronting the wheat and sugar crises. Whereas, the attack of locust, pandemic situation and other challenges had affected the agricultural sector for which the agriculture researchers should come up with solid and innovative solutions. He viewed that the majority of our population is associated with the sector. The poverty and hunger alleviation is directly linked with the agriculture sector. He showed his concern that the more than 40 percent of the population was facing the malnutrition. He said that the nexus of agriculture experts, researchers, farmers and industry prerequisite to improve the situation at the national level.
