Three-day Indigenous On-campus Training (IOT) at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad begins on Thursday

Three-day Indigenous On-campus Training (IOT) at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad begins on Thursday . The training was arranged by Office of Research, Innovations and Commercialization (ORIC), UAF in collaboration with Higher Education Commission. The workshop was aimed at enhancing capacity of the supporting staff for equipping them with modern tools of effective working. The inaugural session were chaired by Chairman Plant Breeding and Genetics Prof Dr Abdus Salam. Director Academics Dr Ghulam Murtaza, Dr Abdur Rasheed, Nosaba Amjad, and Salman Musthaq. Addressing on the occasion, Prof Dr Abdus Salam urged the participants to learn the modern trend that will make their working more effective. He said that agriculture is the backbone of our country and the UAF was taking all tangible steps to ensure food security. Dr Ghulam Murtaza said that the workshop would help in polishing the skills of the participants and give them the training about the modern tools.
