Like other part of the country, International Literacy Day observed at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. In this regard an awareness walk led by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan was taken out from Admin Block to Iqbal Auditorium.

Like other part of the country, International Literacy Day observed at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. In this regard an awareness walk led by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan was taken out from Admin Block to Iqbal Auditorium. Different speech, essay writing contests were also arranged by the insititure of Agri Extension and Rural Development in which University students and UAF run Laboratory High School. Addressing on the occasion, the UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that the literacy is the prerequisite to make the development. He said that it was the matter of concern that literacy rate in Pakistan was very low. For which we have to make the joint efforts. Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof Dr Iqbal Zafar and Director IBMS Dr Munir Ahmad also spoke.
