University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in collaboration with Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) would hold series of events in connection with world space week on October 5-7, 2015.

University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in collaboration with Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) would hold series of events in connection with world space week on October 5-7, 2015. The World Space Week (WSW) is being celebrated each year to increase awareness of space technology and promote its peaceful usage amongst students and the masses. Besides Faisalabad, the SUPARCO is organizing World Space Week in 11 major cities of the country as different activities are being planned for each station to achieve the objectives. Prof Dr Khalil ur Rehman, while chairing a meeting as focal person, vowed that his team would approach all public as well as private schools of the town to attract maximum school students; participation in various activities of the event. The United Nations General Assembly declared in 1999 that World Space Week will be held each year from October 4-10.
