UAF lays foundation of church on campus

University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while laying the foundation stone of Church at the UAF called for promoting inter-faith harmony. He was flanked by MNA Haji Akram Ansari, former MPA Khawaja Islam and others. He also stressed upon the need to encourage the culture of peace, care and love through inter- faith harmony between different religions which is utmost important for the uplift. UAF lays foundation of church on campus - DAWN NEWS Community: Construction of church begins at UAF - The EXPRESS TRIBUNE and now three canals had been allocated for the purpose keeping in view the future needs. He said that the UAF would provide the money for the construction from its own resources. He said that Islam is the religions of peace and provides excellent rights to all including minorities. Earlier, MNA Akram Ansari said that the government was making all-out efforts to safeguard the rights of the minorities so that they could play their active role in the development of the country. He said that minorities had played their due role in the building of the country and hoped that they would continue working for the development with the same spirit. Kawaja Islam said that they would fully cooperate for the fund raising of the Church. He also said that a school for the kids of Christian community would also be set up at the varsity by the Punjab Government. They also inaugurated the project of construction of Church at UAF
