Good tarbiat ( upbringing) of the students, self accountability, sense of responsibility and Tawakal on Allah are prerequisite to fight corruption which has taken root in our society. This was stated by Renowned Educationist Qasim Ali Shah at the capacity building seminar arranged by Office of Senior Tutor, University of Agriculture Faisalabad at New Senate Hall. He said that education is the way forward to bring the behavioral changes to move towards the development. He said that it was the matter of concern that we are just imparting information and Tarbiat of the students was not at the main agenda of the our teaching community. He maintained: "we were facing the dilemma of awarding the degrees without character building that was leading towards poverty of character in the society. The character building must be top priority." He stressed upon the need to aware the people about Allama Iqbal message of Khudi. He stressed the need to submit one's will to Allah and trust him so to emerge as an ideal nation. He said besides financial corruption and misuse of power, there are other type of corruptions including lack of dedication or avoid working . He called for adopting golden principal of Islam in the lives to get Fallah in the world and afterwards. NAB Additional Director Ghulam Rasool said NAB is eliminating corruption through awareness, prevention and enforcement. He said awareness about self accountability would ensure development of the country and transformation into a vibrant society. We have established many character building societies across the country in different universities, colleges and schools. He said that the NAB had developed 19 categories of crimes to enforce the laws . Principal Officer Student Affairs Prof Dr Muhammad Younus said that following in the footprints of last and final Prophet Hazarat Muhammad (PBUH) is the solutions to all the problems facing the humanity. Prof Dr Tahir Siddique urged the people to purify their soul and to follow the injections of Islam. He stressed the need of character building among the school-going children and youth.
