Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil on Tuesday stressed upon the nation to promote truthfulness and honesty and to learn Quran and Sunnah in order to get Falah at the Day of Judgment and in the world also.

Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil on Tuesday stressed upon the nation to promote truthfulness and honesty and to learn Quran and Sunnah in order to get Falah at the Day of Judgment and in the world also. He was addressing the students at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad's Iqbal Auditorium at a public lecture presided over by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan. The public lecture was arranged by Senior Tutor Office; and Department of Public Relations and Publications (PRP). Addressing on the occasion, Maulana Tariq Jamil said that Islam is the complete way of life, giving guidelines and solutions to all the problems. He called for flourishing the culture of love and brotherhood in the society right from the homes, offices and other places. He said that prejudice was one of the hurdle to the way of promoting brotherhood. He added that the unity and the care for others as per line with Quran and Serat-un-Nabi will help the address the different issues facing the Muslim Ummah. He was of the view that it was imperative to iron out the differences prevailing in the different sects and give respect to others. He urged the Muslims to be unified and repent for their sins. He urged the citizens to realise their responsibilities towards the country. If we follow in the footprint of last and final messenger Hazarat Muhammad ( Peace Be Upon Him), we will able to get respect and Nijat at the Day of Judgment and in the world. He said that Allah Subhanhowatallah has showered tremendous blessings upon us. We have to perform our duties effectively to find the blessings of Allah Subhantallah. Principal Officer Students Affairs Dr Muhammad Younus, Senior Tutor Dr Muhammad Athar Javed, Principal Officer PRP Dr Jalal Arif, Associate Senior Tutor Dr Tahir Siddique were also present on the occasion.
