The Lyallpur Art and Literature Festival staged at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad has concluded.

The Lyallpur Art and Literature Festival staged at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad has concluded. The prize distribution ceremony was chaired by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan. The festival featured Qiraat & Naat Competition, Model United Nation (MUN) Parliamentary Contest, Folk Songs Competition, Painting Competition, Treasure Hunt , Folk Dance Competition, Bilingual Declamation , Punjabi Takra, Mushaira & Bait Bazi Competition, Quiz Competition, Drama Competition, Documentary Competition, On spot Product Photography Competition, On spot Portrait Photography Competition, Theme Dinner and Search & Click Photography Competition. In the folk dance, first prize was won by Islamia University of Bahawalpur, whereas Beaconhouse National University stood second and the third price was won by Lasbella University. In the dramas competitions, best play; best actress, and the supporting actor awards were clinched by the University of the Punjab Lahore. Whereas, best actor, best supporting actress and 2nd best play awards were won by the Beaconhouse University. Whereas Islamia University of Bahawalpur secured the backstage management awards. Addressing on the occasion, the UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that the UAF was making all out effort to provide a platform to the students to excel their abilities. He said that it was the need of hour to promote our culture in the youth. He said that the next year, the Lyallpur art and literature would emerge the country largest event in the art and literature.
