A state-of-the-art Horse Riding Club and Tent Pegging Stadium will be established at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF).

A state-of-the-art Horse Riding Club and Tent Pegging Stadium will be established at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF). It was stated by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while addressing the concluding ceremony of Tent Pegging arranged at the UAF. He said that as the joint venture of University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and City District Government Faisalabad, the project worth Rs 40 million is meant to order to provide the training and sport facilities to the horse lovers. Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that the University had been holding the tent pegging tournament at the university for the last eight years. He said that tent pegging was the symbol of bravery and courage that required to be promoted. He said that the tent pegging is a feature of the UAF festival that provides a platform the experts, academia, farming community, stakeholders, policy makers to sit together and map out a plan to flourish the agricultural sector.
