The University of Agriculture Faisalabad has staged a six-day Spring Festival from March 18 to March 23, 2015.

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad has staged a six-day Spring Festival from March 18 to March 23, 2015. The festival is bringing colorful events including tent pegging, milk competition , Agricultural exhibition, Kissan convention, cultural show, etc. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Agmad Khan inaugurated the event. Glimpses of milk competition arranged at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad as the part of Spring festival Glimpses of milk competition arranged at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad as the part of Spring festival On Wednesday, milk competition was kicked off at the UAF Dairy Farms which was meant for increasing the milk production countrywide. The animals will be milked three times a day. The competition will continue for three days. In the first stage of initial round, Muhammad Wasim’s cow topped with 19 liter following Basharat’s cow second with 15.8 litre and cow of Ali Aziz stood third with 15.33 liter. On March 20 programmes include final round of milk competition on 7:00 am; prize distribution 3:00 pmand inaugural session of agricultural exhibition at 3:15 pm will be held. On March 21, agricultural exhibition will commence on 9:00 am and flower show at 11:00 am . On March 22, farmer convention will start at 10:00 am and cultural show at 8:00 pm. On March 23, prize distribution of agricultural exhibition will be held at 11:00 am while prize distribution of tent pegging will be held at4:00 pm and hostels competition in connection with Pakistan Day will be organized at 8:00 pm.
