The solutions to different challenges facing the county is the unity, faith and discipline given by father of the nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that must be promoted in the nation. This was said by University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while talking to participants of fifth Indigenous on Campus Training (IOT) workshop. The five-day IOT workshop, arranged by the Office of Research Innovation Commercialization (ORIC) as the initiatives of Higher Education Commission, has concluded. He quoted the sayings of Quaid-e-Azam that with faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve. He said that Quaid struggle for a separate homeland was meant to build a country where Muslim could practice their religious, culture and traditions. He called for devoting all our energies to work for the prosperity of the country by ironing out religious and sectarian differences especially to defeat terrorism. He called for active participation of women in the socio-economic activities by recalling the saying of the great Quaid Muhammad Ali Jinnah: “no nation can ever be worthy of its existence that cannot take its women along with the men. No struggle can ever succeed without women participating side by side with men.” Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization Director Prof Dr Asif Ali said that the trainings would help the participants to enhance their performance with the usage of modern age tools and –practices. He said the hands-on training had gained the immense importance across the globe. Trainers including Controller Examination, Dr Abdul Wahid, QEC Director Prof Dr Ahrar Ahmad, Institute of Agri Extension Director Dr Tanvir Ali, Director Procurement Rana Khalid, Deputy Treasurer Ashraf Mumtaz, Assistant Professor Dr Ahsan Latif, Lecturer Ayesha Asghar, Sarfraz Ahmad and others gave the tanning about the administrative, and other officials matters.
