The rally was led by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan and renowned singer Jawad Ahmad. They also showed the commitment to stand with the Pakistan Army and Government at the time when the country was running through the tough time. Addressing on the occasion, UAF Vice Chancellor said that the attack is worst example of terrorism. It speaks the manifestation of most barbaric face of insurgency which is playing havoc with the lives of innocent people. He said that entire nation is united to root out terrorism and one day we will be able to bring the peace back to the country. He said that Islam gives us a message of peace, brotherhood and tolerance; and to read. He Jawad Ahmad said that county will become a peaceful and developed country in which no space is for the terrorists. He also stressed upon the need to deal with the terrorism with iron hands. Senior Tutor Dr Aslam Pervez said that it was the worst ever terrorism. The rally started from Administration Block and culminated at zero point.
