It was stated by University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan. All UAF community condemned merciless massacre of schoolchildren, and also showed the commitment to stand with the Pakistan Army and Government to eliminate terrorism. In this regard funeral prayer in absentia for the martyrs of Peshawar carnage was offered at the University central mosque in which a large number of people including staff and students prayed for the departed. A drama titled Khota Sikka was also staged in which the said most tragic incidence was shown and paid tribute to the army which is fighting against the terror. Talking to the participant, the Vice Chancellor expressed his sorrow and grief over the brutal killings and prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls. He also prayed to Allah Almighty to grant courage to bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity. He said that the attack is the manifestation of most barbaric face of insurgency which is plaguing the country. He said that Islam gives us a message of peace, brotherhood and tolerance; and to read but terrorists were attacking on the children and education. He said that the nation is united and we will root out terrorism. During the drama arranged by Office of Senior Tutor, Iqbal Auditorium was echoed with Allah ho Akbar and the students showed their solidarity to make Pakistan a terror free country by joining hands against the terrorism.
