Annual Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flower Show

Stage set for the flower exhibition at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad that will continue till December 13. It will be formally inaugurated by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan today (December 12). The show is arranged by Institute of Horticulture Sciences, UAF. With flowers on display, it has become a centre of attraction for flower lovers. Multiple varieties of winter flowers including chrysanthemum; and rangoli have been displayed in mound and stalls. The University Departments’ students and other organisations including Ayub Research, NIAB, Sitara Pvt Limited etc exhibited their skills in arranging the flowers. It is also a step to promote floriculture and horticulture in the city. The exhibition was meant to spread the message of peace and brotherhood in the society.
