Pakistan and Yemen men’s teams on Saturday qualified for the final match of the International Handball Trophy arranged at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad.

Pakistan and Yemen men’s teams on Saturday qualified for the final match of the International Handball Trophy arranged at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. In the semi-final matches, Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 43-28 goals. Whereas, Yemen caved out 33-31 victory against Bangladesh. The final match will be played today (Sunday) at University Handball Stadium. In the women section, Pakistan and Bangladesh will lock horns at the final match. On Saturday, Pakistan won match against Afghanistan by 37-03; and Nepal hauled Bangladesh by 35-19. Six SAARC countries including Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Maldives, Yemen and Pakistan are participating in the trophy. The event arranged by International Handball Federation and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad is the largest Handball tournament in the history of the country.
