This was stated by University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while chairing third annual workshop titled scientific writing and plagiarism arranged by Senior Tutor Office. He urged the scientists to boost up their efforts in the form of tangible researchers for solving the problems of farming community, industries and common man. He said that honesty, integrity and solutions to the problems of stakeholders must be ensured in the research work. He said that the UAF was making all-out efforts to create the competent atmosphere for the researchers so that they can give the shape to ideas. He said that the UAF research portfolio of has jacked up Rs 2 billion including Rs 700 million international funding. He said that the strict measures were being taken to control the plagiarism. He condemned the malpractices being made on the part of scientists. Senior Tutor Prof Dr Aslam Pervez said that the country was blessed with the tremendous talents as there is the need to explore it. He said that senior tutor is taking all measures to polish the God-given skills of students. He said that Principal Officer Student Affairs Prof Dr Muhammad Younas said that the good researches and teachers change the destiny of the nation. He urged the scientists to excel in scientific knowledge and techniques. QEC Director Prof Dr Ahrar Ahmad said that UAF research citations had increased manifold. He said that the quality researches are essential to compete with the rest of the world.
