Adoption of modern management practices in educational institutions is vital to improve efficiency and to address the issues of stakeholders, students and teaching community. This was stated by University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Registrar Ch. Muhammad Hussain while addressing ongoing Indigenous On-campus Training arranged by Office of Research, Innovations and Commercialization (ORIC), UAF in collaboration with Higher Education Commission. He stressed upon the need to promote the healthy environment at workplace with excellent attitude; becoming honest to our working and hardworking in order to culminate the task within stipulated time. He called for replacing traditional management practices with modern methods that will not only save the time but also will perk up accuracy. He said the University was making all-out efforts to improve the efficiency of administrative staff as par with modern trends. The new interventions including information technology and others are being used to serve the students, and other stakeholders, he said, adding that IOT workshop, which is the initiative of HEC, would bring the tangible results in the capacity building of the people. Director Procurement Rana Khalid Mehmood said that the training will equip them with modern administrative knowledge. He said proper planning is the baseline to achieve desirable results. He talked about inventory documentation and control. Sarfraz Ahmad said that everyone has the talent. There is the need to explore it.
