Faculty of Arts and Humanities - The Dean
Prof. Dr. Shazia Ramzan assumed charge as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, in 2024. She earned her PhD in Islamic Studies from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, in 2011, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the same institution in 2023. At the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, she holds key leadership positions, including Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Member of the Finance and Planning Committee, and Member of the Syndicate as Dean. Her editorial and advisory roles at UAF include service on the Advisory Committees of Kisht-e-Now and Zarai Digest, as well as Mo‘awin of Zaraee

Prof. Dr. Ramzan's national and international scholarly contributions encompass advisory roles for Ilmiyat (University of the Punjab, Lahore) and Al-Raqim (The Islamia University of Bahawalpur); editorial board membership for Maarif Islamia (University of Karachi), The International Journal of Scientific Footprints (University of Gujrat), and Journal of Religion Studies (University of Chitral); advisory board service for Kashat-e-Nau (Iqbal Number University of Agriculture Faisalabad); and peer review/evaluation of scholarly articles and MPhil/PhD theses at multiple institutions including the University of Okara, University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Government College for Women University, Faisalabad, and National College of Business Administration & Economics, Faisalabad Campus. Her scholarly record includes over 45 peer-reviewed publications, co-authorship of curriculum textbooks such as Islami Nizam-e-Zindagi (UAF multi-author project), and more than 100 articles in national newspapers. In public engagement, she hosts the radio program "Qisa-ul-Ambia" on Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, Faisalabad (FM 93, FM 100.4) and delivers public lectures on topics including "Law of Inheritance under the Muslim Family Law Ordinance," "Land Rights in Islam," and "Revenue Administration during the Muslim Rule." Her distinguished leadership in governance, scholarship, and public outreach has earned recognition from national and international institutions.
