I am a dynamic and results-driven researcher and educator with a deep-rooted passion for animal health, aquatic parasitology, and environmental sustainability. With a strong foundation in One Health and disease ecology, my work bridges the disciplines of parasitology, epidemiology, climate change, and public health. As Head of the Aquatic Parasitology Research Group and Assistant Professor at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, I lead cutting-edge research into the epidemiology, taxonomy, and control of parasitic infections in aquatic animals using both conventional and molecular tools. My career has been defined by a commitment to impactful, cross-disciplinary research from climate-resilient parasite identification to sustainable disease mitigation strategies. I bring extensive experience in scientific publishing, competitive grant writing, and mentoring students through community-focused initiatives. With a proactive and collaborative mindset, I thrive in environments that demand innovation, critical thinking, and real-world solutions. Whether engaging with local communities, shaping future scientists, or contributing to global One Health discussions, I’m driven by a purpose: to create healthier ecosystems, empowered communities, and resilient aquatic environments. |
