I am having expertise in wheat genetics and breeding particularly development of drought and heat resistant wheat germplasm. My work aims to find some genes/QTLS related to drought and heat and I am also trying to find the molecular mechanism behind these traits in wheat and some other crops. My research is composed of both basic and applied objectives to achieve a balanced expertise in the field of crop sciences. My scientific background is very diverse, with training in genetics, genomics, molecular biology, plant breeding, bioinformatics, and microscopy. |
