My research group works on isolation and characterization of phages against important human and animal bacteria. Phages are increasingly becoming important in the era of development of antibiotic resistance. The ultimate goal is to develop phage bank and assess their potential as potent antimicrobial agents in in vitro and in vivo conditions. |
