Kashmir Solidarity Day

FAISALABAD Feb 5: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) arranged a rally and seminar to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day, showing solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir. The rally, which was led by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Sarwar Khan, started from the Admin block and concluded at UAF Clock Tower, where a seminar was held at the New Senate Hall. The event is arranged by the Senior Tutor Office. Speaking at the event, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Sarwar Khan urged United Nations to the settle issue of Kashmiris as soon as possible with the right of self-determination. He slammed Indian oppression in Indian Held Kashmir which is clear violations of international laws. He said that nation stands united in support to the Kashmiris in the struggle for their inalienable right to self-determination. He urged the international community must play its role in resolving the long-standing dispute in accordance with United Nations resolutions. Senior Tutor Dr Muhammad Iftikhar said no one will be allowed to sabotage their rights of self-determination of Kashmiris. A large number of faculty and students participated.
