FAISALABAD Feb 20: Literature lovers on Thursday thronged the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in droves to enjoy from the colors of literary activities carried out under four-day Lyallpur Art and Literature Festival (LALF). UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Sarwar Khan encouraged the students to participate and learn from the literary activities. The fest is arranged by Senior Tutor Office. As per results of Qissah All Pakistan Visual and Performing art contest as part of LALF, in Calligraphy Competition Moizzah Noor from Punjab College of Law bagged first position and Komal Ajmal got second position. In Painting Competition Rabeel Fatima from GCUF secured first position whereas Syeda Umama stood second. In Drawing Competition Areeba Manzoor from GCUF got first position and Uswah Tahir second. In QISSAH’25 Visual and Performing Art Competition best actor male position goes to FAST Chiniot, best actor female goes to MANSUA, best actor, best production best technical and best Direction to GCUF, and best monologue FAST Chiniot. Prof Dr Muhammad Sarwar Khan praised all the participants for outstanding performances and creative contributions. He said the festival has been a celebration of talent, intellect, and artistic expression. Visual and Performing Art Competition was arranged by Art Club, Senior Tutor Office whereas Senior Tutor Dr Muhammad Iftikhar, Dr Muhammad Rafay Muzamil and Muhammad Asif also spoke on the occasion.
