Pakistan resolution Day

FAISALABAD March 23: Like other parts of the country, Pakistan resolution Day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. Under the auspices of the Senior Tutor Office, UAF, a seminar was held at New Senate Hall in which the students of laboratory high school presented mili nagamas and a walk was taken from Admin block to Clock Tower. They also presented the skits highlighting the commitment and sacrifices of Pakistan Army to safeguard the country. In his message, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali said that unity, faith, and discipline as per envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam are prerequisite to make the development and prosperity. He urged the youth to work hard for the development of the country as envisaged by Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Poet of the East Allama Iqbal. He said that our homeland appeared on the map of the world after great sacrifices. He said that now it is our duty to move the country towards new height of progress. Addressing the seminar, Senior Tutor Dr Shoukat Ali said the history of the Sub-Continent was changed with the Pakistan Resolution on March 23, 1940 when our great leaders demanded a separate country for Muslim nationhood. Principal Officer Students Affairs Prof Dr Muhammad Riaz said that independence is the great blessing. He said that the country is having rich culture and traditions. He urged the youth to become active agents of progress. Principal Community College Dr Abdul Ghaffar said that Pakistan Resolution was a turning point in the history of Muslims in the subcontinent. He encouraged citizens to reflect on their individual role in the country’s development. Dr Izhar Ahmad Khan, and Dr Muhammad Tayyib also spoke on the occasion.
