Pakistan Financial Literacy

FAISALABAD April 18, 2025: As part of Pakistan Financial Literacy Week 2025, a Financial Literacy Walk was organized at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The walk commenced from the Institute of Agriculture and Resource Economics and concluded at Clock Tower of UAF, in which students, faculty members and representatives of the banking sector participated. The walk was led by Waqas Kashif Bajwa – Chief Manager, the State Bank of Pakistan, Banking Services Corporation (SBP) Faisalabad, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Dr Babar Shahbaz, Registrar Umar Saeed Qadri, Dr Muhammad Asghar and others. Participants included students, faculty members, presidents and executive members of chambers, trade associations, and business bodies. Also in attendance were students from institutes for special persons, representatives of women-focused NGOs, bankers and stakeholders from various walks of life. The walk aimed to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy and promote inclusive financial practices across the community.
