FAISALABAD May 5: With a strong focus to explore innovative teaching methods and global trends in higher education, University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has kicked off a two-day international symposium on emerging trends and best practices in education The symposium held at the New Senate Hall has brought together educators, researchers and students across the region. The symposium is organized by Institute of Agriculture Extension, Education and Rural Development on the directives of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali. Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Dr Babar Shahbaz stressed upon the need to promote the students centered leaning system. He said that in the era, a blend of physical and online learning has gained momentum, reshaping the traditional classroom environment. To keep pace with global educational trends, we must integrate technology-driven methodologies that empower the educational system. Dr Crynthai Korpan, Dr Wenona Partridge and Dr Kathleen from Canada, and other distinguished speakers through light on technology enhanced learning environment, the bordering landscape of higher education, changing tides: going with the flow in the higher education. Dr Aqeela Saghir talked about the five basic element of cooperative leaning.
