FAISALABAD July 9: The young generation must be equipped with artwork skills that provide lenses to observe the world minutely and depict the real issues and beauty of the world, compelling the people to think out-of-the-box. It was stated by Dean Faculty and Arts and Humanities Prof Dr Shazia Ramzan while addressing the painting workshop arranged by Dept of Art and Design. Dr Kiran Khalid and Verdah Tariq also spoke on the occasion. A large number of students attended the workshop which helped them to polish their skills and excel in their field. Prof Dr Shazia Ramzan said that artists highlight the specific issue to attract the public and attain their attention in a bid to create positive movement for the national development. She said that in the era, when people were suffering from nerve, the artwork provides them a moment of enjoyment and to get refuge from the monotonous routine. She said that beauty of nature is a permanent of happiness and bring the people out of the world of anxiety. She said that the artists present the nature in such a way that we can even enjoy it without traveling and staying at our home and workplaces. Dr Kiran Khalid urged the students to develop the creativity and such art exhibition were the need of the hour to hone the skills. She added that all out efforts were being made for the said cause.
