A delegation from Anjuman-e-Kashtkaraan meets UAF Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr. Zulfiqar Ali.

FAISALABAD July 22: Enhanced collaboration between scientists and farmers are essential to increase production and ensure food security. It was said by University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali at a meeting with a delegation from Anjuman-e-Kashtkaraan Secretary Information Muhammad Khan, Hum Kisan Federation Chairperson Mian Irfan, Shamsul Din, Muhammad Iqbal, Awais Aslam and others. Deputy Registrar/ Technical Staff Officer Muhammad Asif Saddique also attended the meeting. Dr Zulfiqar Ali said that to uplift the lives of rural folks and agricultural sustainability, it is essential to set agriculture on a scientific basis. He called for adopting advanced agri technologies to increase productivity and extend benefits to the farming community. Referring to the recent global climate challenges, he called for agricultural smart agricultural challenges. The delegation also met Senior Tutor Dr Shaukat Ali, Dr Muhammad Naveed, Dr Irfan Ahmad, and Dr Abdul Wakeel briefed delegation on modern agri-technologies.
