Two-day hands-on training workshop on baking techniques organized by Institute of Home Sciences and at Women Industrial Homes at UAF.

FAISALABAD July 30: Skill-based learnings can play a significant role in empowering women, helping them not only at workplace but also become an entrepreneur. It was said by the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Director Institute of Home Sciences Dr Beenish Israr at two-day hands-on training workshop on baking techniques organized by Institute of Home Sciences and at Women Industrial Homes at UAF. Dr Beenish stressed upon the need to equip women with professional skills that will also help cope with economics woes. She further said that in today’s rapidly evolving era, it has become need of the hour to facilitate our women to take part in economic activities. Industrial Homes In Charge Sadaf Iqbal called for polishing business skills so that they can become job providers rather than job seekers in future. UAF encourages entrepreneurship and help female students to start their own small startups with minimal investment. This hands-on training is one of the productive step towards that. Hira Iftikhar said that Institute of home sciences especially working on empowering women to face the future challenges and excel themselves in field of art and design.
