Tech & Entrepreneurship Summit 4.0.

FAISALABAD Oct 29, 2025: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) staged the Tech & Entrepreneurship Summit 4.0, bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and students from across the country. The two-day summit featured business expos, tech product displays, coding competitions, hackathons, e-gaming tournaments, inspiring talks and hands-on workshops. Talking to the participators, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali said that fostering tech-driven entrepreneurship is vital for sustainable economic growth and national development. He said that universities must serve as innovation hubs where students are trained to think critically, develop digital skills and launch job-creating startups. He said that UAF always remained committed to organize such kind of summits to provide a platform to the future industry leaders. MNS University of Agriculture (MNSUA) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Asif Ali appreciated UAF’s initiative in promoting youth innovation. He said that Pakistan’s future lies in its talented youth. He added that to shape a knowledge-driven economy, we must equip our youth with emerging technologies, entrepreneurial exposure and industry linkages. Principal Officer Academic Teaching Research and Innovation Prof Dr Rao Zahid Abbas stressed upon the need to refurbish God-given abilities of the youth and equip the youth with business skills. Director BIC Prof Dr Iftikhar Ahmad said that such business expos and startup stalls help young entrepreneurs showcase their ideas, network with investors and learn market trends. He said that these opportunities strengthen Pakistan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Dr Habib Aslam Gaba said that hands-on workshops and skill-building activities will empower students with the latest digital tools and enable them to compete globally. Chief Hall Warden Prof Dr Anwar ul Haq and Senior Tutor Prof Dr Shoukat Ali said that summit will help inspire youth innovation and strengthen Pakistan’s journey toward digital transformation. Managing Director of UK-Pakistan Trade and Investment Board (UPTIB) Azhar Warraich, Techno X CEO Faheem and Abu Huraira from Startup Pakistan spoke on the occasion.
