FAISALABAD Dec 5, 2025: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad took out a rally to mark the world volunteer day meant for lending a helping hands to the deprived segment and work for the prosperity and betterment. It was arranged under the auspices of Senior Tutor Office UAF in collaboration with Punjab Civil Defence and Saylani welfare trust. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali said that it is our responsibility to help the deserving segment of the society for a better living and address their issue. He added that we have to play role to spread the message of brotherhood in the society. He added that volunteerism contributes to a more cohesive society by building trust and reciprocity among citizens and also inculcate values of humanity and integration. He said that volunteers create a richer culture of service within their communities. They help bridge the gap between generations and support sustainable development. Senior Tutor Dr Shoukat Ali said He said that volunteerism brings benefits to both society at large and the individual and it also makes important contributions to the communities economically and socially as well.
