Through Academic Exchange Internship Program, a group of seven international students from the American University of Beirut (AUB) Lebanon has completed one month internship at University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The program was coordinated by the Foreign Students’ Advisor Office.

FAISALABAD Jan 16: Through Academic Exchange Internship Program, a group of seven international students from the American University of Beirut (AUB) Lebanon has completed one month internship at University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The program was coordinated by the Foreign Students’ Advisor Office. While addressing to the internees at the certificates distribution ceremony, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali said that the program is opening the new avenues of collaborative opportunities in knowledge sharing, academic exposure and providing students with hands-on research experience within relevant research laboratories. He said this program will play a vital role in innovation and capacity building. He added that exposure to diverse agricultural systems and learning environments will prepare future leaders to address global food security and resolve challenges related to uplift sustainable agriculture. Dean Animal Husbandry Dr Qamar Bilal, Dean Social Sciences Dr Waqas Wakeel, Dean Agri Engineering Dr Anjum Munir, Director Office of Research and Innovation (ORIC) Dr Rao Zahid Abbas, Registrar Dr Asif Kamran, Advisor Foreign Students Dr Muhammad Ahsan and others attended the event.
