University of Agriculture Faisalabad celebrated Baloch Culture Day and hosted an Iftar dinner for Baloch students.

FAISALABAD March 3, 2026: University of Agriculture Faisalabad celebrated Baloch Culture Day and hosted an Iftar dinner for Baloch students. Chairperson Punjab Higher Education Commission Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar, and UAF Vice Chancellor Dr. Zulfiqar Ali were the guests of honor, while a large number of Baloch students attended. Prof Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that the Cultural Days keeps us connected to our traditions and connects the younger generation with rich cultural heritage. He said that all possible efforts are being made to expose the younger generation to modern sciences and achieve a knowledge-based economy. Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar said that Culture Day is a reflection of our identity, traditions and great historical heritage. He said that the youth should make all out efforts to acquire modern knowledge and make tangible research by adapting to the demands of the present era. Vice Chancellor Dr. Zulfiqar Ali said that brotherhood, and unity in the society is prerequisite to address the difference challenges. He said that the University organizes programs to highlight our eastern heritage. He said that food self-sufficiency can be ensured by bringing modern research to the industry and farmers.
