International Ambassador for Education of Srilanka from Rajarata University Dr. Chinthaka Karalliyadda alongwith University of Agriculture Faisalabad team visited Ayub Agriculture Research Institute (AARI) Faisalabad.

FAISALABAD Mar 04: International Ambassador for Education of Srilanka from Rajarata University Dr. Chinthaka Karalliyadda alongwith University of Agriculture Faisalabad team visited Ayub Agriculture Research Institute (AARI) Faisalabad in a move to learn from each other experiences. He is on visit to Pakistan and is being hosted by University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF). He along with UAF team of Dr. Aqeela Saghir and Dr Muhammad Rafay Muzamil visited Ayub Agriculture Research Institute (AARI), Jhang Road, Faisalabad and at the Office of the Director Agricultural (Extension), Faisalabad Division. He called on Director General AARI Dr. Sajid-ur-Rahman and Director Agricultural (Extension),Dr. Khalid Mahmood. Dr. Chinthaka Karalliyadda said that agricultural extension services can be reinforced by establishing farmers’ connection with their heritage and modern tools to improve sustainability at the grassroots level. Later on, the delegate visited the Exhibition Centre of AARI showing innovative and research activities and visited Agricultural (Extension), Faisalabad Division, Government of Punjab. Director General AARI, briefed about the organizational portfolio, scope, mission and vision. Chin was motivated to listen the extension models of Punjab Pakistan.
