Four-week workshop arranged by Professional Training and Skill Development Center (PTSDC), University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Finance Administration Management and e-Governance.

FAISALABAD March 7: Four-week workshop arranged by Professional Training and Skill Development Center (PTSDC), University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Finance Administration Management and e-Governance for the Agriculture Department officers has concluded. The training was mandatory for the promotion of the officers of the Punjab Agriculture Department. A total of 94 officers from Punjab Agriculture Department took part training in the 33rd and 34th batch of this program. In his message, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali said that the progressive farmers are getting almost double production than average per acre productivity for which agricultural experts should reach out the farming community to disseminate the latest technologies and develop target-oriented technologies. He said that the decreasing organic matter was posing a serious threat to the agriculture sector for which we have to come up with viable solution. In-charge PTSDP Dr Neelaum Chaudhry said that Continuing Education Department was established in 1963, and elevated to PTDC in 2023. She said that they were polishing skills of the participators of different courses to excel in the respective fields. Nazar Hussain said that PSTDC was offering 250 short courses skills. Trainers Registrar Dr Asif Kamran, Treasurer Zeeshan Ishfaq Bukhari, Director Dr Babar Shahbaz, Dr Saqib Ali, Resident Auditor Gulfam, Director Umar Saeed Qadri, Principal Officer Jahanzeb Tariq, Dr Sadaf Mehmmod and other notables gave the training.
