FAISALABAD November 21: An Awareness Seminar on “Emerging Role of Pakistan in Global Peace Building and Diplomacy” was held at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The session was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali and organized by the Character Building Society under the Office of the Senior Tutor, in collaboration with YPDC-UAF and Rotaract Club UAF. Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali highlighted Pakistan’s growing contribution toward global peace, diplomacy, and constructive international engagement. He emphasized the vital role of youth in promoting harmony, tolerance, and dialogue. Lauding the efforts of Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minster of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, he said this mediation effort is a testament to the fact that Pakistan’s strategic importance is defined by our commitment to peace. By providing a neutral, credible platform for engagement, our state institutions have effectively safeguarded global peace. The seminar featured distinguished guest speakers including Dr. Muhammad Azhar (GCUF) and Dr. Unsa Jamashad (GCUF), who shared valuable perspectives on Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives and peace-building efforts.
